Grun is very big. Easily towers over most races. He wears chain mail over his torso and legs. The chain only goes on his right arm. On the left fore arm a shield is strapped to his arm. On each of his hands are spike studded gauntlets. In the palm of each gauntlet is a ruby. He also wears a helm that seems to be made to fit his head perfectly. It has holes that fit his horns, the back of his head and his nose. He only has one visible weapon, a small axe. It is made of the same metal his gauntlets. On the handle of the axe are rubies the same size and design of the rubies on the gauntlets.
History:
Centuries ago a three headed red, black, and blue great wyrm terrorized the world, for centuries. Thousands tried to slay the beast but none survived. Finally a great mage created a magical suit of armor and weapons to be used in killing the beast. He gave it to a king and told him he would be invincible. Once he was to have defeated the dragon he would give the armor back to the wizard. The king agreed and then killed the monster. When the wizard wanted the armor back the king said no. The mage had thought this would happen and was ready for it. With one word the armor killed the king. The mage tried to destroy the armor but could not. So he hid many pieces and gave some to other kingdoms to guard. Hundreds of years later Grun was born. He was the son of the leader of a Minotaur lord. He was brought up to be a noble like his father, but he showed signs of great strength early and it was then decided he would be the general of his father's army. Twenty years later he was fighting a battle against ogres and fell into the ground. He had fallen into a cave. He searched the cave and found a temple of some sort. When he entered the temple skeletons woke and tried to kill him. After dealing with the skeletons he searched the temple and found a pair of gauntlets. He put them in a bag and left. He found his way out of the cave a few days later. When he returned home he showed his father the gauntlets, his father seemed to recognize them. He told him of the armor and told Grun that when the pieces where given to people to be protected, his ancestor received one. Only Grun's father knew of it. They left in the night without anyone knowing. They went to a cave and Grun's father showed him the axe. When in it's presence the rubies on both the axe and gauntlets began to glow. Grun took the axe and gauntlets to a mage in a nearby city to have the identified, he learned of what it could do. He paid the mage to keep his silence about it. Grun spent years training with the axe. His father told him that he should collect other pieces of the armor. When he would get close to one the rubies would glow. So he set out on his quest to gain the full set of armor of Kahl.
